Windowpane Poppies Embroidered Tea Towel — Cream & Turquoise

I embroidered a pair of orange poppies — hand-drawn, then machine stitched — onto a cream and turquoise windowpane plaid tea towel with a green and yellow selvedge edge, the kind of piece that looks like it's been in the kitchen for years even on day one.
This one's cut from Ruby Star Society Moda toweling fabric: 100% cotton with a thick, slubbed hand that's seriously absorbent and holds up to daily use. I use deadstock fabric to keep things low-waste. Every one is sewn and embroidered by me at my studio in Pottersville, NJ, and it's made to be used often, not just admired from across the room.
