I embroidered three different fish — each one hand-drawn, then machine stitched in blue thread — onto a citron, cream, and blue plaid tea towel built for kitchens that don't hold back on color.

This one's cut from Ruby Star Society Moda toweling fabric: 100% cotton with a thick, slubbed hand that's seriously absorbent and holds up to daily use. I use deadstock fabric to keep things low-waste. Every one is sewn and embroidered by me at my studio in Pottersville, NJ, and it's made to be used often, not just admired from across the room.
