I embroidered a gaggle of four barnyard geese — hand-drawn in a folk-art style, then machine stitched in white and yellow thread — onto a bold blue and orange striped tea towel that isn't interested in blending in.
This one's made from cotton toweling fabric: 100% cotton with a thick, slubbed hand that's seriously absorbent and holds up to daily use. I use deadstock fabric to keep things low-waste. Every one is sewn and embroidered by me at my studio in Pottersville, NJ, and it's made to be used often, not just admired from across the room.
